Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon Episode 9

More Hair down Kanna!

I LOVE My new computer! I no longer have to make my own WorkRAW just to be able to work on episodes anymore. Enjoy Episode 9.

Torrents: (MKV) (MP4)

UPDATE: I am having some serious trouble with my encoder trying to make the 848×480. It gets to 99,62% done and just quits. I don’t know what the heck is going on, but I’ve been trying to fix it for three hours with no luck. I’ll continue working on it in the morning.

UPDATE 2: I give up. I’ve tried everything I know to fix it and it still will not produce an 848×480 MP4. So I’ve brought my laptop out of retirement to make them. At least it still has no problems making one (besides being slow). I will continue looking into the problem and working with the programmers who made my encoding program to see if I can resolve this issue. Thank you all for your patience.

Grats on the new machine. i take it it’s a lot faster and not all day sort of thing. If the 848 size isn’t working, then what mode did you do this one in? I’m not entirely savvy on encoding.

      Can’t edit post.
You said in previous post that you can’t do 4k editing, but are there any anime right now, even in blue ray that actually GO to 4k? Or is this for work on things other then anime?

I don’t know what’s going on actually. I’ve never run into this problem before. I’ve submitted a help topic on the Xvid4PSP forums and am currently awaiting a response, If all else fails I can just use my old Laptop. I still have it hooked up through the RGB connection on my TV. My new rig uses HDMI. But that’ll take 2 1/2 hours to make.

As for the 4k, I don’t think there are any anime right now that are in 4k. I was just saying in the future when anime eventually does get made in 4k.

I think it’ll be at least another 5 years before 4k becomes even close to a standard.
Hell, anime is only broadcast in 720 anyway.
The only people who NEED it in 4k are people who are projecting it.
I mean… how much clearer do you need the lines to be anyway?

I suppose it’s best to just get the MKV out first, that way you’re on par with the other subbing groups. MP4 can come later. Are the MP4 more compatible with other devices? Nowadays, most dvd players can play MKV, so long as it’s not 10 or 12 bit.
Also question for you, is the sequence in the opening song, where tohru is running across the screen, with multiple versions of her, is it supposed to look as artifact laden as it does? I mean is the source material that bad, or is that just the compression? (about the 2 min mark in the latest episode)

I just gotta say, as someone who doesn’t get emotional at very much, and certainly not on most anime,
THIS episode made me cry. Not in a bad way, or because something bad happend.
